Theft of (new) wallets and purses from Leamington Town Centre.

Warwickshire Police are appealing to the local community for information following two incidents of theft of wallets and purses from stores at Leamington Town Centre.

This occurred between 13:00 and 13:30 on 16/11/2019.

Two unknown offenders entered two stores in Leamington Town Centre (Regent Street and Satchwell Walk). From the Regent Street outlet they took three leather wallets, and from the Satchwell Walk outlet they took four leather purses.

Both offenders were white males. The first was described as late 50s, slim, wearing a black beanie hat, a black gilet, blue and white checked shirt, and dark trousers. The second was a white male, approximately twenty years old, he was carrying a “Dunelm” bag into which the goods were placed.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 282 or 217 on 16/11/2019.
