Police are appealing to the local community for information following an incident of making off without payment from a filling station in Emscote Road, Warwick.
A white Peugeot Combi type van stopped for the driver to fill up with diesel to the value of £96.98. He then got back in the vehicle and drove away.
He is described as a white male in his fifties, with wavy hair (balding on top), a short beard, and wearing spectacles. The vehicle he was driving had false registration plates.
Police are currently examining CCTV footage.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 285 on 21/09/2019.
