Theft of garden tools from van in Milby Drive, Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of gardening tools stolen from a Ford Transit.

This occurred at 10:05 on 03/07/2019 when the items were stolen from the vehicle while it was parked on Milby Drive. The van was not locked or attended. A witness saw a man had taken tools from the van, jumped in a car and drove off. The items taken were: a Stihl Long Reach Hedge Trimmer, a Stihl Short Reach trimmer, and a Stihl Leaf Blower. All items are marked with the owner’s post code.

The driver of the vehicle was described as wearing a mask (possibly a ski mask, and sunglasses.

Warwickshire Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.

Advice from the police is to ensure, where possible, you remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended.
