Theft of drainage units from building merchants on Somers Road, Rugby.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of ACO drainage units from building merchants on Somers Road, Rugby.

This occurred at 09:30 on 23/07/2019.

Three males entered the store, after arriving in a silver pick-up truck with a trailer on the rear. The trailer contained a digger. In the yard they asked for ACO drainage units and loaded 9 units to the value of £200 onto the truck. They did offer payment, but said it was too expensive, left and drove away with the units still on the truck.

The first male is described as 5’10”, white, well-built, brown swept back hair, goatee beard, wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts. The second male is 5’10”, white, well-built, shoulder-length curly hair, wearing a blue polo top, and dark-grey shorts. The third male is similar to the first, but wearing a high-vis jacket.

They all had Irish accents.

Police are examining good-quality CCTV images.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 116 of 23/07/2019.
