Theft of curling tongs from store in Elliots Field Retail Park, Rugby.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of curling tongs from a store in Elliots Field Retail Park, Rugby.

This occurred at 16:00 on 12/08/2019. A male entered the store and took two sets of Babyliss curling tongs, worth £120 each, and left store without payment. He jumped into a waiting car which left at speed, nearly hitting a pedestrian.

The offender is described as a white male, 6’, slim, sporting a trimmed beard which followed the jawline, and tattoos down the left arm. He was wearing a black Gucci baseball cap, a black T-shirt, grey skinny jeans/joggers, black socks, and white trainers. The driver of the car is described as a white male.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 282 on 12/08/2019.
