Theft of coffee from store in Kem Street, Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft from a store in Kem Street, Nuneaton.

This occurred at 19:35 on 23/08/2019.

A shoplifter took five jars of coffee, and put them into his bag. He was challenged on attempting to leave the store, dropping a jar of coffee. He then threatened to stab the store staff member with a dirty needle. He left the store by the rear entrance, with one jar of Kenco, and four large jars of Douwe Egberts coffee, to the total value of £36.65.

He is described as a white male, about 28, 5’, short and stocky, stubble on face. Smartly dressed in a light blue, patterned polo shirt, grey shorts, black socks, and grey Nike trainers. He had a local accent

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 169 on 24/08/2019.
