Theft of chocolate and biscuits from store in Long Street, Atherstone.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of chocolate and biscuits from store in Long Street, Atherstone.

This occurred at 20:45 on 31/07/2019.

A male entered the store and went to the confectionery aisle. He took approximately sixty packets of various biscuits and chocolates and placed them in the bag-for-life he was carrying. On his way out he also put a six-pack of Coca Cola and a litre bottle of Coke into the bag. He is recognised as the same person who committed another offence in the store on the 24/07/2019. Total value of goods approximately £90.00.

He is descried as white, 30 years old, 6’, slim build with short brown hair, clean-shaven. He was wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, light blue jeans and white trainers.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 166 on 01/08/2019.
