Theft of cash from taxi at Nuneaton Bus Station.

Warwickshire Police are appealing to the local community for information following an incident of theft of cash from a taxi at Nuneaton Bus Station.

This occurred 18:15 on 05/10/2019.

The driver of an eight seater Citroen Dispatch taxi left the wheel of his vehicle to assist a fare alight the taxi, parked in the taxi-rank. While the driver door was open, two males took £30 cash from the door pocket, and then went toward the multi-storey Asda store.

They offenders were both males in their late teens. One had a grey hoodie, the other had light coloured trousers.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.
