Theft of petrol from filling station, Leicester Street, Bedworth.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of heft of petrol from a filling station, Leicester Street, Bedworth.

This occurred at 21:20 on 24/08/2019.

A driver put £10 of unleaded fuel in his car, and, at the shop, his card was declined. He said he was going to get some money, but left the shop, and drove away.

He was a white male, brown hair, wearing a blue striped T-shirt and black shorts. He had an Irish accent.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 182 on 25/08/2019.
