Theft of jewellery from premises in Market Place, Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of jewellery from a premises in Market Place, Nuneaton.

This occurred at 16:20 on 16/08/2019,

A male entered the store and asked to examine engagement rings. He was shown two expensive rings and a dummy ring. After about ten minutes examining the rings, he ran out of the store with one expensive ring and the dummy ring. The expensive ring is a white gold diamond cluster ring. It has 3 baguette diamonds on the shoulder; value £1,999. The dummy ring is not precious metal, but looks like white gold with a solitaire fake diamond.

The offender was described as a white male, 35-40, 5’9”, thin, gaunt looking, short dark unkempt hair, clean-shaven. He had piercing blue eyes and bad teeth. He was wearing a white collarless shirt, dark blue jeans, and black trainers.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.
