Theft of groceries from store in Main Street, Newbold, Rugby.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of groceries from a store in Main Street, Newbold, Rugby.

This occurred at 09:25 on 05/08/2019

A male and two females entered the store and filled a trolley with approximately £150.00 worth of goods. They left the store without attempting to pay, and proceeded to load the goods into a van. When challenged, they kept repeating “Me no understand”.

The offenders are all described as being Eastern European, probably a husband, wife and daughter. The older female is stocky 5’8”, dark hair tied up, wearing a white T-shirt and black leggings, pumps. The younger female, about 18-20, was wearing a white crop-top blue jeans, and dark hair in a pony tail.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.
