Theft of groceries from store at Chesterton Drive, Galley Common, Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police are appealing to the local community for information following an incident of theft of groceries from a store at Chesterton Drive, Galley Common, Nuneaton.

This occurred at 19:44 on 01/09/2019.

A male offender entered the store and has filled two “bags-for-life” with various consumables, (cheese, steak and assorted fresh meat), in excess of £80. The offender deterred staff and two members of the public from challenging him, stating that he had syringes on him and is HIV positive. No syringes were actually produced.

No description of the offender is currently available, but Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 373 on 01/09/2019.
