Theft of alcohol from store in Overslade Lane, Rugby.

Warwickshire Police are appealing the local community for information following an incident of theft of champagne and wine from s store in Overslade Lane, Rugby.

This occurred at 15:00 on 14/08/2019.

Three males entered the store and took bottles of champagne and wine. They had been recognised as having done this before and police were alerted. However, they had left the store before police arrived. The value of the alcohol was approximately £86.

All the males were white, late 30s, early 40s. One was wearing a high-vis yellow vest with a logo (possibly “BMB”) on the back. Another was wearing a long coat, the third dressed all in black.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident number 240 ON 14/08/2019.
