Survey on Women in Security

This month Perpetuity Research are launching a survey on Women in Security roles, consulting with offenders on their views of security measures, and undertaking analysis of a public consultation on reducing health harms of food high in fat, sugar or salt.

Despite opinion that diversity of views holds potential to enhance the quality of work in security, only 10% (approximately) of the workforce are female. Perpetuity Research is conducting a survey asking women working in the physical security field about their experiences, including:
  • What types of barriers (if any) exist to entering and progressing in the industry
  • Whether strategies to overcome barriers are being adopted and views of them
  • How the representation of women in the sector can be increased

The survey is anonymous, takes approx. 10 minutes to complete and respondents can request a free copy of the findings once available. The deadline is Friday 10thMay. Click here to answer the survey:
