MOWPs from service station at Leicester Road, Rugby.

Two MOWPs. Warwickshire Police are appealing to the local community for information following two separate incidents of making off without payment at a service station at Leicester Road, Rugby.

This occurred at13:15 and 15:30 on 17/11/2019.

Incident 1: A Volkswagen Passat (with stolen plates) pulled onto the forecourt and the driver filled up with £100.99 worth of fuel. Some of this went into containers in the boot. He then waited until the store was busy, and then left the forecourt without any payment for the fuel being offered.

Incident 2: A dark Honda Civic pulled onto the forecourt and the passenger filled up with £127.15 worth of diesel, using a tank in the boot. The vehicle then left the forecourt at speed and without any payment for the fuel being offered.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident numbers 218 and 283 on 17/11/2019.
