Goods stolen from store in Newtown Road, Nuneaton.

Warwickshire Police are appealing to the local community for information following an incident of theft of goods stolen from a store in Newtown Road, Nuneaton.

This occurred at 11:45 on 19/09/2019.

A male and female entered the store and filled a trolley with goods to the value of £70. The male wheeled the trolley out of the store onto the car park and both loaded a black Volkswagen Golf with the goods. On being challenged by staff, they jumped into the car, reversed—hitting another car—and drove off at speed.

The male is white, mid-20s., slim, 5’6”, ginger short hair, and a beard. He was wearing a black Adidas tracksuit.

The female is white, mid-20s, shoulder-length fair hair, black-rimmed glasses. She was wearing a white Adidas top with a black stripe on the sleeve, grey leggings, black trainers, and carrying a grey handbag.

Police are currently examining CCTV footage.
