Advice for businesses from the NCSC regarding the recent ransomware attacks

The National Cyber Security Centre has recently issued guidance to home users and small businesses who want to reduce the likelihood of being held to ransom by ‘WannaCry’ or any other type of ransomware.

The three main ways in which you can protect yourself or business are:

  • Update software
  • Run antivirus
  • Keep a safe back up of files
